Well, this one has been sitting ready to go for about a month now. It is my sole competition entry for the Ascendence modding competition, it was scratch built by me just to prove to others that scratch made stuff goes on here as well as conversions. It's based on the replica of the sole GeeBee typeZ that was used in the Rocketeer. The real one was fatally crashed during testing of a 200hp engine upgrade over it's standard 550hp, the power never destroyed it though. It was speculated that during landing of an earlier attempt the wing was lightly damaged, this coupled with severe control judder inherent in older aircraft (it was later discovered that the ailerons needed weighted to prevent this) proceeded to destroy it during an approximate 350mph pass.
